EC 2007

When I first moved to Toronto four years ago, I had three goals in life:

1. Become a doctor.
2. Dance in a hiphop music video.
3. Dance on Electric Circus.

Four years later, I no longer want to be a doctor (unless a doctorate counts), I am too shy to show off my ass n’ titties to ever make it in a hiphop video, and Electric Circus is no longer, unless you consider that brief reality tv failure on EC dancers. Last night however, Camp So Chill DJed the one year anniversary party of Lost Cats, and during our pure 90′s set, VJ CTV News at Noon flashed the following logo onto the projector screen:

I nearly broke out into tears. And so in spirit of Muchmusic’s Electric Circus, I would like to organize an Electric Circus party at Ourspace. My inspiration:

This is going to be an amazing summer.

D.I.M. played this Switch remix of The Klaxons’ “Golden Skans” at the Social on Thursday, and reminded me that The Klaxons are pretty avant garde compared to most bands out there right now. If you disagree with me on this, well then atleast we can both say that Switch knows how to play with a track and make it even better. More proof of his skillz:
