A ‘bodega’ is a Hispanic term for a convenience store, a term taken directly from the Spanish term, ‘la Bodega’, which means grocery store. Your local bodega may really be your one-stop-shop, as more specifically, the term ‘bodega’ often refers to a convenience store that is in fact a drug store in disguise. If you’re doing any shopping at your convenience in Boston, MA, you may instead stumble upon a bodega that is a streetwear boutique in disguise.
