Skate photographer Patrick O’Dell, will be showing at my gallery his photo exhibit To All My Friends from Friday, June 27 until Wednesday, July 23. The opening reception with O’Dell in attendance is Friday, June 27th, 7-11pm. Come and look at some photos, enjoy a beer courtesy of Grolsch, and receive a free limited edition of Color Magazine.

The exhibition is an intimate collection of photographs based on O’Dell’s widely popular and ground-breaking online photo-journal and television show, Epicly Later’d. In his frequent updates to Epicly Later’d, O’Dell’s photographs go beyond the sport of skateboarding and intimately document the camaraderie of skate culture. To All My Friends showcases images of both film and digital media, photographs captured in leisure and in work, which illustrate an honest and genuine documentation of skaters skating, hangers hanging, and up-too-late, out-too-often night dwellers doing what comes naturally.

As a special treat for Toronto, O’Dell has also brought with him old work that hasn’t been seen in years and new work that hasn’t ever been seen before.
