I’m excited that Toronto Fashion Week is here, even though that means stepping foot into some of Toronto’s most unfashionable venues for the after-parties. Despite Karl Lagerfeld wisdom that “taste has nothing to do with money”, Fashion Week party planners feel the need to choose the most flashy, cheesy, and tacky venues this city has to offer. Keeping Mr. Chanel’s words in mind, here are a few fashionable non-fashion week parties where your outfits won’t go to complete waste.
