Oh, barnacles!
I’m not a huge fan of work by NYC artist KAWS, best known for his Original Fake clothing and most recently, Kanye West’s album art. But his current solo show at Gering & Lopez Gallery, looks pretty awesome. Besides, I’m a sucker for SpongeBob SquarePants.
Note. The show was curated by producer/rapper/songwriter/fashion designer/hottie Pharrell Williams. Pharrell recently collaborated with furniture designer Domeau & Pérès to produce the “Perspective Chair”, a contraption said to empathize the love between a man and a woman when sat in. Riiiight. Cool design, though.
